Avistar anyone?
Hi Folks,
I'm new here and I just purchased G3 and I really like it so far. The only thing is thata I would really like to fly the trainer that I have for real (Hobbico Avistar). Can anyone tell me how I can either create this plane or is there one already made up and available for use? Any help would be appreciated! Don |

When I had G2 I had found a paint scheme of an Avistar for the PT-40. I then tweaked the planes settings a little and it looked and flew just like my avistar.
Look around in the G2 swap page for the paint scheme. I'm pretty sure I saw some people here say that they got G2 schemes working with G3. Jim H. |

Thanks Guys, I really appreciate it. I read the spcs for the PT 40 and it says that it has a flat bottom airfoil, where the Avistar has a semi symetrical one along with 3 degrees of dihedral. Is it possible to go into the PT 40 settings and change it that way? Plus, I have a 46 FX engine in mine. Once again, just trying to get the most out of the G3 prior to getting to the field. I wish the wind would stop!
Thanks, Don |
