Does anybody still have the patch files??

Hello, it has been some time since I last played this game but now I started it all up again and I'm wondering if anybody here still has the patch files available to update to the latest version?

I believe the latest version is 2.00.178 but there could be also beta versions that weren't released to the public.

And since the servers for update are all down, plus the tech support email adress, plus countless members that had the patch available dont answer (including the Admin here!) I dont know any other way than asking here officially if there is any possibility to get the original game to the latest version nowadays.

If someone has the files please upload them anywhere and post/send a link, thx!

You're kidding, right. Did you're great grand father leave that for you, when he passed?

@flexible: no actually I'm not.

@rfcool23: thx but I tried already writing to the realflight support where they returned me an automated message that linked me to patch files but they were for realFlight and not realRace.
and since I'm not situated in America or wherever that guys might have their company I fear that it will cost me more than I'm willing to pay for the patch (not to mention that I am not willing to pay anything for a patch).

@a4magic: you know that I am talking about RealRace and not RealFlight right? (btw thats why I'm writing this in the RealRace forum )

Now I know it is unlikely that somebody still has the patch files except the developers of the game but is it really too much to ask for them?

If the automated reply was not what you needed, then you should e-mail them back.

I have always received really good support.

@rfcool: thx I did that (I wasnt aware that they wouldn't send another automated message back). However I didn't get any answer yet (its about a week now) but I'm still waiting.

@Norton: As I said before, I dont need the patch that badly but still it would be good to have the latest version of a product.

I fear that the patch will remain locked away from the public but I guess I have to live with that. Anyway thx to all the people that tried to help here

No actually i ddon't have the patch file. But i know how to use the patch file.

1. Download the patch file as a text file
2. Place the patch file in the 'icu' directory (at the same level as 'source')
3. Run the command: patch -p0 < patchfile.txt
4. If you are using a GNU patch, there is an option '--dry-run' which can be used to test whether a patch will work or not, without actually applying it.
i like .
