That's the hope yet doubtful since they've had it for a long time now. Ya never know though.

Before we jump down the throat of KE I think we have to consider what we have been given in terms of custom content recently. Custom visual props and heli blades, engine sounds, bump mapping (older but still a great addition). I think this may be something as a WIP for the future. While in-house currently I still feel that there is a matter of how well KE has treated its community. They have listened to our WANTS and delivered on some fantastic stuff.

I have to say I'm curious but I'm not about to go get my torch and pitch fork.

Please don't paint me ungrateful for what KE has provided. I simply meant that since they've had this ability since atleast the Russian Thunder and we don't have it I would assume that's the way they want it. Of coarse I appreciate a sandbox application like this. I have no torch and pitchfork. Merely a discussion on a recent discovery.

But even the argument you make precludes your own theory. It's not currently possible for us either. I'm suggesting that it's be easier and more convenient for KE to use 2 .tga files in the same file, rather than 2 different .max files merged together.

No torch and pitchfork here, either. With you guys using 4096 files, that's still twice the resolution of KE using two 2048s. At this point however, I am extremely curious how they are doing it, Boof's theory, or mine. I can't think of another alternative.

So, who would like to jump on this new plane and do a "REPAINT". I'm kinda fond of the DESERT Schemes, however the E series 109s were more colorful than the later versions.

we're just discussing ,throwing out ideas as to how they are doing things there ......We all would like to learn how and if maybe we could someday have access to those files
Its all good ..I never meant to Imply KE was some how evil for not letting us in on what has been obviously a different way of making CSs than we're used to lately

I agree KE has been more than generous with the content included in the last few updates...they could have easily held them back for a future EX.Pack release

Perhaps the Me-109 is meant as the test for this new exporter.

A desert scheme is already included. I'm working on a winter camo right now.
