How does RealFlight flight sim work?

I would like to know how RealFlight flight sim works? Does it for instance use Blade Element theory or stability derivatives to simulate aircraft? In particular, I would like to know how accurately it can simulate aircraft flying at high angles of attack, like the flying pancake: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vought_V-173

If you are looking to use RF as some sort of research tool, I would suggest contacting KE directly to ask these sort of questions.

Any aircraft in RF can be modified to fly however the user would like. Some content is more representative of the actual plane than others. I would suggest editing the aircraft to see what assumptions have been made. In RF check out the XFSU-1 Flying Pancake. The physics of the wing is not the exact shape of the graphical shape.

Radio controlled models often do not represent good approximations of the full sized aircraft.
