I'm hoping / waiting for someone to do a nice polished (NMF) with painted stripes! There are a lot of nice examples of that as well.

pplace...Excellent model, here are a couple of observations.

1. There is a slight error in the normal map on the elevator, one side is too short. look closely at the seam of elevator to stabilizer and you will see it, on the top of one side, and the bottom of the other (see below). I have uploaded a CS to the swaps that includes the fix.

2. To do a bare metal scheme, it would be much easier with a _s.tga map, the spectral map, which is not included. I personally can't get to a bare metal look without a spectral map using photoshop, but there are much smarter CS'rs than me out there...

If you need me to pull the CS down for your repairs, just let me know. The _n.tga could easily be copied and saved to match the _n.tga name in any other CS.

Otherwise, thank you for another awesome model!

You can create your own _s.tga map and place it in the file for the 195. It doesn't have to be included with the original file.

as far as the mis-alignment on the normal map. I remember when I copied / pasted one half of the h-stab I never re-positioned it for the opposite side. Thanks for the fix

Sweeeet. I was just reading how to save a CS and create a _s.tga in another thread. I think I'll give it a go. Thanks again for this classic beauty!

Full Metal Jacket

Ok, here is exactly 5 minutes spent on a metal skinned version. I believe if I put a little effort into it, I can make this one shine!

That's it for tonight, just had to see that I could create a _s.tga map, like I said, this is with no time effort at all...

Stay tuned?
