Can I use my R6.5 controller?

It's not clear to me if I can use the controller that came with R6.5. Does anyone know?

Yes, it can. But you won't get the extra channels/sliders.
But I do wonder what will happen if an RFX aircraft requires those extra channels.

Awkward, but better than nothing. I may buy the X controller later, when my budget allows.

I figure it's either the keyboard or the mouse wheel (i.e. for the zoom or focus).

That is what people do now when they use their own TX and it has less channels than the interlink. They use the Y U I O keys to function the other channels they don't have.

As csgill75 guessed, we did add virtual channels for the two new channels, making them accessible via keyboard.

For the small number of vehicles where those extra channels are actually required for full operation, we created an "Advanced" variant, so that users with fewer channels can still fly the simpler version.
