Doug, are you refering to building as in "kit". If so the plans would be even better that 90% of the three views (as I bet they are true to scale).

Small update just to get this thread back on topic. Detailed front gear, named objects, pivoted control surfaces, full cockpit, wingtip pylons and smoke emitters everything is done except for the rear gear. I am going to go with a different paint scheme however, something more visible in the sim. Last 2 pics show how I was able to get the front gear to fit into the intake (red parts are the inner intake tunnel). At this point I have only used 1/2 of the available polygons which is amazing, when I 1st took this F-16 on I didn't think 20,000 Polies would be enough. I haven't even done any optimizations yet.

Very nice. I'm amazed at the detail you've gotten for the poly count you're at.

I'm amazed too, but looking back my Ultra Bandit was only 10,000 triangles. Count is up to 11,749 with the rear wheels now.

Render Time

Doing some renders of the (hopefully) finished model, I'll add them as they are done rendering. I still have 5,500 poly's left over I might try and add a full body pilot, but we'll see. This is NOT the paint scheme I am going with BTW.

Thanks guys, now lets see if I can survive making this landing gear fold correctly. I know I am in for some serious headaches to pull THIS off. Let me try and do this alone first, If I get stuck I am sure one of you (cough boof) will try and bail me out
