Could be your PC is not up to the task.
In the "other" thread you were having directx errors, my guess is you clean that up, you should be able to use more 3D applications.

I guess I can see how far I can get without a face select tool that works properly.

Need to modify Hobbyzone Super cub

I've downloaded the Hobbyzone Super Cub from the forum. I need it because I just got the model for my son.

This is the download link:

http://knifeedge.com/forums/download...o=file&id=8132

The model is fine, except that the engine takes too long to spin up and then stop. On the real model when I give it full throttle the engine goes full throttle almost immediately, and when I pull back it stops within a couple of seconds.

I did modify the download to remove the gearing, which helped the spinup, but it still isn't close to the real model.

Thanks in advance.

Check the servo speed, a 9 would be very slow, and a .5 would be very fast.

Speeder Bike anyone, Please?

Can someone make a Speeder bike with biker scout. Made to fly at a low hover. Flight controls, moving flight surfaces and thrust flap to be able to move. Maybe the Biker Scout can Crouch down further when speeding up. Controls could be modeled after the Harrier in G5. Hope it's not to much to ask.

I would really like to see if someone can add floats to (one of a few) Typhoon 3D's on the swap pages. I just finished rebuilding this little beauty after a speed controller burned up and melted the foam fuselage. The floats are a new addition of coarse, with custom made rudder (hinges and plywood).

The floats are a kit from Hobby Zone for "super cub". They happen to work nicely for this jem. I have yet to take her on a maiden flight. It's been too windy and cold. There is at least one video of a similar project on YouTube.
