Okay now I see what you were describing with the mirror part, (a picture is worth a thousand words)
Obviously any letters on numbers text on the top or bottom pieces would display correctly on the other side ???

That's correct any text or graphics would be mirrored on the other side so it would be backwards. I didn't think when I remapped that part that people would be putting text and graphics there I was only thinking about fixing the bad alignment issues it had when it was mapped across in the Z Axis. I don't understand why an angle stripe wouldn't align properly when I mapped it that way but it didn't so I remapped it to just ONE X Axis but I guess it needs to be redone. Ah.. I think I hate this plane.

No they would be mirrored so they'd be backwards. I didn't think people would be putting text and graphics there so I guess it needs to be remapped again.

Well it`s "somewhat" of a common occurrence I`ve seen in the past having done some CS`s. It`s easy for a modeler to miss at times, just because your mindset is somewhere else, SO, don`t feel bad... I thought it might be better to bring up now, rather than after you posted it.

Yeah putting stripes and chevrons on is fine but if it has text or graphics they will be backwards. The thing is no matter how I've done it people have problems. When I map the whole side as one part you can easily put stuff on it and there's two separate sides but the problem is the mapping starts stretching stuff badly at the top and bottoms so that's not perfect and I've got complaints about it. It seems to be a catch 22.

I'm curious what were you planning to add on the top part of the plane. That would be on the anti-glare shield you were going to make and 'anywhere' down the turtle deck. That will help me make better decisions in the future. Thanks !

When I did the T-28 at first I had each side mapped as one piece and the glare shield across the top of the fuselage looked terrible, it lots of feathering on it. So I remapped the top to be one piece like I had Rage in the beginning and it looked great the feathering was all gone. But I never tried to put an angle strip down the fuselage so I don't know if it had the same problem as Rage did.
