U-Bird thanks for providing all those pictures and info, its really good stuff. The initial colorscheme for this P-38 will be one of the D-Day Invasion Stripe liveries, just like the pic in this post. Not sure which name it will get yet.

I decided to blend the wings into the fuselage, its pretty hard to do after the fact but I felt it was important to the overall look.

Isn't it interesting how there is only ONE mustang on that list? I've still never understood how people rave about it so much. It is pretty, fast, and did its job well, but to be such a popular model baffles me. So many more interesting subjects. Whats the triangle count now?

Added more detail to the booms and got all the cockpit glass pieces cut out. Decided to go for more of an R/C scale plane look for the canopy (like the R/C P-38 in the attached pic).

Onder check your wing fillets at the fuse against a better pic. perhaps...??, something doesn`t look right

I used the "cut" tool with the blueprint superimposed over the models mesh, then detach it as a separate object.
