Unless you can talk a modeler into making it for you.

Gotta get them interested first though.

That is the synopsis of what I was saying. However, you could download a copy of Wings 3D (free software), learn how to use it, and build it yourself. That's how many people got started modeling RF models here. (Myself, I just got bored one day. Now modeling is as addicting as crack!) They desperately wanted a model that didn't exist, and could interest anyone to build it for them. Wings 3D wont get you all the way, but it will get you far enough that someone else could easily finish it for you.

Hello, could anyone make a McFoamy for 3.5? It is fairly popular, easy ty fly EPP. The measurements are on this web site. http://wmparkflyers.com/McFoamy.aspx
Thank you very much!!

Eugene,
I'm not promising anything, but I'll take a look at it when I get home.

Oops, scratch that. I don't have 3.5. Spend $80 and I'll consider making it!!

I thought the whole reason was for this forum was like the title says REQUEST A PLANE. I understand that it might not happen.
But it did hurt me none to ask if someone was up to the task on a plane other would enjoy!

Rufus, I had already posted that I'd consider making it before I realized that it was a G3.5 request. So I edited the post to add the second part.

What Norton pointed out is true: there is plenty of help here for people who put a serious effort into modeling.

Also, the link provided does not include specs. It only pincludes engine and prop size. I don't know what the wingspan or the weight is.

Yes I understand the part about the 3dwing software.
I do appreciate the information and will make a effort to download the software.
I must have misunderstood what this forum is about! My Bad
As for poor Eugene
It was the maner of wording from you that prompt a response in Eugene defends,
despite the lack of variables it could have been a little nicer.

Look, in order of what happened:

1) I offered to make him a model.
2) I posted that.
3) I realized that he wanted it for 3.5.
4) I edited my post to reflect that.

Since my edit was so close in time to the original post, no edit markings were present. I'm sorry if I offended you. As for the original requester, I have no ideas if I hurt his feelings as I did yours. Again, I am sorry that I did not realize right away that it was a request for G3.5. My deepest apologies to you, and anyone else who was hurt by my inadvertant/accidental offer to make a model, not realizing right away that I could not provide him with a model that he could use.

Hey Eugene

I got this model in work.
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1017773
There is not going be much difference in how it flys and how that one flys.

Jeff if you still like to take a crack at it, Model, map, and paint it. Me or maybe Flex can get it in to g3.5.

You know I don't paint. But I know someone who does. I still need a wingspan and a weight or wingloading.

OOPS typo on the lipo ... wing span is 34 inches, it has more area on the vertical fuse for improved knife edge and a little longer lines for a nice blend between 3D and pattern type flying. Painted foam with spars glued in weighs in at 80.5 grams, so the build will come out at around 7.5 oz, about half an oz heavier then the yak.

PCHarrist . Nice looking SR by the way.
Would we perchance be able to play with the G3.5 version?
