I have tried again and if i use the same name file it dose come out, But if i just rename it it dose not.

If i change it to Waco Blue.tga it dose not work i even tried Waco_Blue.tga

If I understand correctly from working with him before he wanted to save a color scheme for a plane and then repaint TGA in the color scheme he wants. The new color scheme hasn't been exported yet. So all he has to do is save his repainted TGA file over the TGA file in the color scheme he saved. The new color scheme hasn't been exported yet. At least that's what I was helping him with before.

Did you Save a new color scheme like my directions? If you did you must use whatever name you saved the new color scheme as. There's a file RealFlight uses to know where the CS files are and it uses the name you gave it when you saved the color scheme.

SO.. if you saved a new color scheme as Waco you must use that name. To use a different name you would have to save a new color scheme using that name. Think of it this way, you are just REPAINTING the CS you told RealFlight to Save. And if you don't know how to go in and modify and delete files in the Color Scheme directory saving lots of different CSes will cause lots of files and names to show up in the Select Color Scheme menu item.

That's a bit different path than I'm used to but it sounds right. The key here is, is the CS you saved in that location?

If i use the same name of the waco.tga with my repaint it come out with the new colour.

But if i rename it and place it in the C:\Users\flm\OneDrive\Documents\RealFlight 8\Vehicles\ColorSchemes with the new name waco blue.tga the flight sim dose not create the new paint job.

Yes i have exported the colour sceme from a Waco.tga and i have edited it in PS Pro and i have finished with the paint job, i have saved it in 32bit colour.

Now i have used the same name to try and see if it works on FS8 and it dose.

I have removed the file Waco.tga and place the old one back in to the C:\Users\flm\OneDrive\Documents\RealFlight 8\Vehicles\ColorSchemes\ of the original waco.

now i have renamed mine to waco blue.tga and added it the = C:\Users\flm\OneDrive\Documents\RealFlight 8\Vehicles\ColorSchemes but it dose not change stays the same only one colour.

what am i doing wrong?

I try to import it from real Flight and it dose not see the file because it's on .tga

Should i be saving it in another format?
