Friends.
I'm new to this so have some patience please. I've retired a while back and decided to take up RC flying as a hobby. I decided to buy a flight simulator to hone my basic flying skills so I contacted the folks at Hobbico (RealFlight) and inquired about the simulators. After a discussion it was recommended to buy the RF7.5 simulator which should agree with my computer setup. I have a problem, and this is what I'm inquiring about: I have a low-end radio controller (FLY SKY FS-T6) and before I commit to the RF7.5 I want to make sure I can use it with the simulator, but no one, not even the folks at RealFlight, can assure me of this. In fact it was Derek from RF who suggested I look at Knife Edge and try to find the answer here. So please, can someone give me an answer about this? l'd really appreciate it if someone knowledgeable will drop me a line at davcrn@gmail.com Thank you, David Crown. Hadera, Israel ![]() |

If there is any question about your controller, Purchase the Interlink Edition of Realflight. It is the preferred controller for Realflight as everything "works" out of the box, no finicky setups in the transmitter. You can still use your transmitter with the interlink if you still want to try it though. The interlink has a trainer port and includes a couple cables to connect with Specktrum/JR, Futaba, and other popular transmitters.

As csgill75 says, the Interlink Elite Controller edition, is the most recommended package, by experienced RealFlight users.

Thank you everyone.
I purchased the rf7.5/interlink model and installed it. I haven't tried linking the flysky fs t-6 to it yet but the system works well for most parts. It does get hung up once in a while on the approaches and i have to reset. I'm going through the manual slowly and am in the training phase as of now, but i'm having fun with it. I certainly hope that i'll earn my sailor's legs soon and return to the models, i actually built, in the field. All in all a nice toy. |
