Question. Is anyone planning to create a color scheme for the DC-4, and if so which one are you planning to do. I'm not sure the color scheme I made for the beta will be the one I release it with so I don't want to make a CS that one of you are planning to do (and release).
i'll probably do this CS for the first one

A tiny update. I just finished updating the CS TGA for the remapped parts the only thing left is updating the SPEC MAP and then I'll be finished. I'm heading out for my Sunday walk at the mall so I'll finish it up later. It's a nice plane I think you'll like it.

I finished modifying the spec map and got the plane going again. Then I went back and tweaked the flight physics a little to make it a bit more responsive. Right now it seems good to go but I'm going to fly it a few more times to make sure I haven't missed anything. So very soon now. Ha.. yeah I know I've said that before.

I finished the beta today so give it a look and let me know anything you find wrong. There are some things I already know about that will be fixed when I add the wheel wells and finish it up. I only did the 1x1 mapping that was needed for the beta so that's something that will be off a few places so let me know what you find. I didn't think to give the fuselage a quick check so I'm sure a wrap around stripe on it won't match. But I did a quick 1x1 mapping on all the other parts so they should be very close. I'm sorry I didn't think to do a quick 1x1 mapping on the fuselage but I didn't have anything that wrapped around it so I didn't think to do it.

CONTROLS:

FLAPS: CH 6 Knob
BRAKES: Down Elevator
GEAR: CH 7 Switch
SMOKE: CH 8 Switch Away From You

NOTE: It has the differential engine control from the Realflight Clipper which
helps turning while you taxi but remember that's disabled above one eighth throttle.

CAMERAS:

F4: Cinema Cam
F5: Pilot Seat
F6: Plane Front
F7: Plane Left
F8: Plane Right

EDIT:

This beta had a problem so I fixed it and uploaded another beta you can find the new beta at the link below.

i got an error when trying to import the Douglas DC-4 when i had the Clipper loaded i'm guessing it was because of the same engines being used ? anyway if anyone else comes across this you will now know to change to a different plane before doing the import flys great and looks excellent technoid thanks for the beta

The DC-4 fly's great in RF8 and RF-X, superb work Technoid, nice color scheme, love the brakes for the short runways, the DC-4 stops realistically.

Thanks guys I'm glad you like it I think it's turning out pretty well, not perfect but very nice.

UPDATE:

I really felt bad because I didn't think to do a quick 1x1 mapping on the Fuselage so this morning I added my typical test stripes on the fuselage to see how far off it was. Ha to my great surprise both test stripes aligned perfectly all the way around. So Doug if you have any wrap around stripes on the Fuselage they should be fine.
