Nice list, but.... Where's the A-1 Skyraider, I don't see anywhere on that list.
Hope you have a smooth recovery.

I don't see any cool 3-views. Must someone else do everything for you?

I'll look into the planes and get some pictures and stuff before I do anything further.

I will probably be finished up with my SPAD recreation for 4.5 and 5 (Will be exported from G4.5 but is designed to work for both, hopefully, will test.)

I am expecting probably another week or so before I finish my SPAD. I have everything completed, except texture maps, which is a long process to paint for, but I do have this aircraft in my basement and could base it off of that.

Anyways, nice list.

You think finding 3-views is difficult? You should try building a model! Most modelers won't consider a request if you are unwilling to find a 3-view for them. They aren't just sitting around waiting to jump on the next request. They are users like you and me, who do this in their spare time.

True enough, but it does help confirm which model the user is requesting. It's just too easy for someone to say, "Hey, gimme this model." At least providing 3-views shows a desire to help. Besides, I remember one of your posts where you said you'd build a requested model, but you couldn't find any 3-views. If that user had provided one, he may have gotten his model.

I know that you do plenty of requests without 3-views. My original statement said most modelers, not all modelers. I've seen many modelers say at one time or another that they will not consider requests if the user won't even bother to provide 3-views and other information.

No problem.

To the others who are arguing in here: this both offtopic now, and who really cares. I would much rather prefer to see some of jeff's work to backup his statements, but it does not bother me that he is talking what most modelers require/want.

As a game developer in modeling, our boss never gives us less then 5 views, I am use to multiple views or even having the real thing with me. My SPAD is being designed to the 1/32 inch of mine (Yes, mine is different then the original SPAD plans, since I have found it to be more reliable, stable, and easier to fly in this design)

I don't know what work to which you are referring. I made a general statement about most modelers. I could also make a general statement about any other group of people. It doesn't mean I'm a part of the group. It just means I pay attention.

Due to hurting some fragile feelings, I rescind my previous post. Opinion/trying to help = war on here.

RFRulez, sorry to hear about the appendix. Get well

Dave
