All the flight controls and throttle levers move with the transmitter.
Just testing the plane to destruction and I found this: an engine not in the hierarchy correctly. It appears to only be that one though

Yes I've seen that too but don't know what to make of it. THAT IS.. the original engine I imported using the 'import merge' command in 3ds Max to load an engine that was exported from another plane. Then I selected that particular engine 3 more times and moved it to the other locations, so that's the original engine that was duplicated three times to create the other engines (each time selecting that engine). So I suppose that's why there's only one engine that does that. BUT.. Each of the engines that were duplicated are connected in the 3ds Schematic to the proper engine housing (nacelle).

Just checking the Visuals tab in realflight reveals Case1 is a child of the fuselage not nacelle1.

It's not technoid's fault. Boeing designed that one

Ha.. My Bad. Yep I knew what I did and I did it that way BUT I forgot to connect the original engine I imported to the engine housing (nacelle) so by default it was connected to the fuselage. Thanks for catching that and I'm a dummy for seeing it several times and never going back to make sure the connection was made. I just deleted the post for the beta and will post another beta right now.

Here's a beta with the engine case schematic connection fixed and has all the final features. Let me know if you find any problems.

FLAPS: Ch 6 Knob
SMOKE: Ch 7 Switch
All the flight controls and throttle levers move with the transmitter.

asj5547 I need your help can you use FRAPS to display the frames per second and land the Flying Boat at the RC Ranch (I think it is) like in this picture and see what your lowest FPS is as you pan the camera around some. I can get higher depending on where I am but this is about the lowest I get, which of course isn't very good. I suppose it's because of the triangle count being so hi (about 125k). Anyway see what your lowest is so I can see how much better it would be with a RTX 2080 (I guess I should have got one after all, bummer)

thanks technoid i just grabbed your new beta and will go over it have a look , excellent looking model ! . i just had a check on the flying boat man this is a nice addition to RF , just a couple nit picky things , 1 the bottom lettering could move inboard just enough to even the B and R letters with the wing float . 2 wonder if it could use a little engine differential to help low speed water turning ?

I think Doug Schluter is correct about the water handling, needs differential engine power settings, this is what I did for better turning at slow speeds on the lake. Linked the differential throttle settings to the cockpit levers as well.
Channel 7 switch up, towards you to activate diff engine power.
