RFMobile and Fire Tablets

Since there is no RFMobile forum I will post this here.

RFMobile is not available in the Amazon app store yet. It is possible to install/run RFMobile on the Fire tablets manually.

1. Download both the RFMobile apk and obb files. (I'm sure you can search and find these unless Ryan would like to provide a link).
2. Copy the apk file to your device.
3. Install the apk file using any apk installer app you prefer in the store. (Do not open or run the app yet)
4. Copy the .obb file to the devices storage in the following directory:

/Android/obb/com.greatplanes.rfmobile/

If the folder does not exist in you will have create it inside the obb folder. It is case sensitive.

Run RFMobile and enjoy.

I have it running on my cheapo $50 Fire 7 tablet just fine. This is free software so I don't feel it is a problem. All extra pay content will still have to be purchased.

Perhaps they will get Amazon to put it in their store soon.

I don't see a problem with sideloading RealFlight Mobile on a Kindle, since it is a free app. There is obviously a difference between that and trying to obtain paid content for free.

Native support for the Amazon Kindle is a wishlist feature for Mobile right now. We may add it down the road.
