error message

Every time I start Realflight 7.5 I get these error messages:

error opening o:\rfsim\image\Sounds\Motors\DA 150 30x12 wood. motorsp
error opening o:\rfsim\image\Sounds\Motors\DiesellHelli. motorsp
error opening o:\rfsim\image\Sounds\Motors\DiesellPlane. mototsp
error opening o:\rfsim\image\Sounds\Motors\Electric 1. motorsp
error opening o:\rfsim\image\Sounds\Motors\ElectricDuctedFan. motorsp
error opening o:\rfsim\image\Sounds\Motors\F86 SabreMicro EOF. motorsp

Once I get past these everything seems to work.

I'll refer you to this thread as it sounds like the same problem you're experiencing. It also explains the O drive.

As suggested above, don't look for O:\ to actually appear in the list of drives on your computer. It is an internal RealFlight file system construct.

If you follow these directions and post your system info, I might be able to look at it when I'm in the office and offer a suggestion. But your best bet is to contact RealFlight Technical Support.

I get that type of message from time to time too. When I get an error message that asked about submitting it I do. Here's a picture I made recently of the error message. I also often get an error when I try to save a physics file, it says it's read only and wasn't saved. Of course it's not and I just save it again and it's fine. Then I exit the editor and the physics was saved okay. There's an error when the program tries to save the file or looks to see if it's read only before saving it. I know you guys worked on that but there's still an issue there. I can save that error box it you want and post it here next time it happens. But when I get the error message about 'o' drive there's often several in a row I need to deal with.

I contacted tech support and they said to uninstall and reload system. I will try it tomorrow and see if it cures it. Thanks for the replies.
