If you are editing an existing model just do the following.

1. start G3 and load the desired model to edit.
2. Goto the aircraft drop down menu
3. Cliick edit aircraft
4. under "airframe" locate the main wing.
5. In the specifications for the main wing change the "strength multiplier" to the desired value.
6. Locate the fuselage and do the same thing.

That should do it for strength.

The easy way to rename a colorscheme is to export it. Go to the simulation drop down menu and select export airport. Change the filename and re-import it.

Here is another way.

In the RealFlightG3 folder on your computer you have a colorschemes folder where they are kept. There are 3 files per color scheme. Change them to the name you want. Must have the same extension. .dds, .tga, .colorscheme.

Edit the .colorscheme file with a text editor such as wordpad and change the names within the file as well.

Once renamed go to the swap pages and upload your model/CS/etc. You should see these links. Click on the add.

Add | My Files

That should do it.

Just do a "save colorscheme as" and give it a different name. The command is under the aircraft menu.

The problem with export/saving as a different file name is it doesn't change the names within the ".colorscheme" file. If these names already exist during import you could accidently overwrite a perfectly good color scheme. I know the program warns you but I have seen it happen all too many times. Yes that would be me that clicks before completely reading the warnings.
