Don't hold your breath. The poly count isn't going to change for 7.5 since we are about 4 months away from realflight 8 to be announced. I doubt that the exporter will ever be updated to a newer version of 3dsmax wich means soon nobody will be able to create content for RealFlight. Perhaps version 8 will have a new exporter and finally do away with dx9.

I'm going to assume that 7.5 is probably done as far as updates and what not. It's very possible though that the developers are working on a new version of RealFlight. It's usually quiet from the developers a couple months before the announcement of a new version.
