Swap page diarrhea!

The swaps now have the worst files I've ever seen to date. PinkYakRC has uploaded 11 files in 24 hours. They are just color fills and they are terrible. I think that the swaps should have some moderation. If not that a maximum upload per day limit. 2 should be the most. I think it would deter these kids that are grounded to their rooms from filling their day with color filling models and gumming up the swaps. KE keep up the momentum with fixing the swaps and install an upload limit. Maybe think about pulling most of PinkYakRC's recent uploads. Check out the quality of his work.

This is why we have a rating system.

No it's not. How has the rating system ever removed terrible files? I'm referring to the clutter and wastefulness of uploading these crap files. Unrelated.

Two files a day is too restrictive. With the Rascal for example, I posted 2 EAs, 6 CSs, and an AV. While this is an extreme example, I would have been really put out to have to take 5 days to upload all of them and probably wouldn't have gone to the trouble.

See a restriction would deter a heavy upload number in one day. How often have you needed to upload that much in a day?

That has been the worse for a single upload, but I have exceeded two per day numerous times. For example say you released a file and then someone spotted an error you missed and you pulled the file. Replacing that file on the swaps would burn the two right there and if you had posted any other file you'd be out of luck.

I would say your the exception and not the rule. I have uploaded more than 2 in a day before but I wasn't in such a hurry that I would not upload them because of an upload restriction. Honestly who is in that big a hurry?

It won't stop it (we can't stop it, it's the internet), but it will give us the data we need to identify it.

This is why I didn't want to get rid of the rating system entirely. There is a lot of useful data in there that can be used for situations like this.

It's obviously his favorite color.

Could be worse, could be peptol bismol pink.

A forum I use for another program has a rule that no content is allowed for sharing unless it is deemed a quality effort by the forum Moderators and it works out pretty well for them.

Boof, why does it bother you so much?

The swap pages have had times like this off and on for years, long before you ever became a member.

Just ignore the crap, like everyone else does. It will fall to the bottom soon enough.

Can't we report it to you? It sort of works for spam posts.
