Tried setting up a wing fold. And it made the plane more prone to tip stalling in a high G corner or pullout as airspeed drops. I think I am going to omit the wing fold from the physics model because of the fore mentioned problem and I am out of channels (of the origional 8). Although I could set the wing fold and canopy to an automatic setting based on some combo of airspeed, atittude, and throttle position like the dive brakes

Why not omit it but make it optional to add in an AV?

Either way you like it will be fine. I did decide to spring for a Interlink X since my old Elite is getting flaky gimbals again (1000's of hours). I could replace them but figured with as many hours as I sim why not get the extra channels.

<Insert Highly sarcastic voice> I don't know technoid, it may have too much dihedral and won't fly good upside down.

I'm sorry for this joke

Yeah I do like the full symmetrical airfoil all the planes I flew back in the day had them, and I use because I like the way they fly. I'm an old time RCer I guess.

Can`t blame ya on that point, love them as well. I have an electra star (I think that`s the name ???) that has a semi symmetrical airfoil completely flat on the bottom, and I had the hardest time getting it to lose alt. @ dead stick, I know I could have used elev., but wanted to learn its characteristics, darn thing would glide forever 6 lbs. BTW
