Been I little busy My BVP-170 is about ready for 3DS export and my RBG became the Aerotech Phoenix since I got permission from its designer Bob Parks. The Phoenix is being reviewed by Bob to see what needs to be changed in the physics department.

From the first group I want to totally redo the first one , the second one. Nah! The third one I may finish just because I spent so much time on the motor area already. It is a copy of a home built job I saw on RC groups but, I don't believe the guy ever finished the real one.

The Phoenix is almost swap page ready. I'm just working out the final details. The G3.5 version is about dead on. I'll be heading over to Cowboy's place to set it up in G4 here pretty soon.

BVP-170 or Naboo Starfighter as you called it LOL is ready for mapping. I did all the hierarchy and pivot points the other night. It is in fact a WWII plane that never really made it off the drawing board. Nasty Toes Aviation had a kit for it but, I believe they went under as there website is no longer there. I was able to find the 3-view for it from www.luft46.com .

Well I sent off the BVP-170 to Wilsonman after he's done it will be off to MikeyMike for a paint job.

I'm just about to put the Phoenix on the swaps for RF3.5. So, I thought I would start another one

Here it is the Proteus. Still a lot of work left on this one.

I like the way you designed the Proteus. I am interested to see just how you work the control surfaces into that one.... I have an idea of my iwn as to how it would work, but I'll just leave you to decide this for yourself. Keep up the good work

Well besides working on the physics on Doug's F4 Phantom and waiting on a okay on the physics of the Aerotech Phoenix before I post it. I have been working on this poly pig. Its a powered parachute. Still plenty of modeling left on her. I may have to lose the servo wires. Been a great learning experience as I have learned a few new modeling tricks in Wings 3D .

Hehe, back when I was working on the Saturn V I was trying to work out a foldable parachute for the CM. Too much work for the payout IMO. cool concept though. I have often wanted fabric physics in RF but I know that is too much to ask.

Yeah I don't think mine will be folding up anytime soon either. I do want it to tilt back and sit on the ground. Have it move back up with the throttle. I really wish they had a speed sensor for stuff like this. This would be at least the second time I would have used it.

Better environment needed

Ya what we need is a better Environment to play with our 3D Toys. I cant get mine working in RF. Guess I'll just have to build them out of wood in the shop this winter. And Fubar I have two mufflers for your engine if you want them .

If your wondering, look on youtube for Marble Machine

Wilsonman is going to be putting together a thread for posting parts. You should join in and put the mufflers on there. I'm sure quit a few people will enjoy them.

This is my best estimate of how the poseidon flies. Note that I use G3.5.

Well I got bored while my Internet has been out. I call my latest creation the Extinguisher. It has a theoretical power source I thought up. I wanted a rocket plane that has throttle control but, very safe and nonflammable. It is CO2 powered with a expansion chamber inside heated with Li-Po power. The refillable tank hangs underneath for easy swapping.
