1) what's multiplayer .. 2) add ons vs expansion packs

Hi all,
two questions to help me out:
1) what's multiplayer? what do you do in that mode? I play farcry 2 multiplayer where we shoot each other or two teams shoot each other or two teams will steal each others diamond.. bla bla bla.. what about rf? what do you do in multiplayer?

2) for G4.5, expansion packs that you buy are different than the free add ons? or are they the same? why have some free ones and some to buy? it's not making sense to me so help me out please

Multiplayer gives you the ability to fly with others around the world. No, you don't shoot each other down, there's no points to score. It's a sim, not a gam. You can text chat, and in G4.5, you can voice chat. Check your manual for more details.

There are different events you can participate in, but very few people do that. People usually just fly together in a session. It's a sim, not a video game.

you were doing the same thing last time I saw you which was days ago.. doesn't your head hurt a little.

I wasn't expecting a video game like.. I was just wondering what you do in multiplayer.. that's all..
I will have to check it out soon.. once I'm good enough to hang with you

Nonsense!
If you join a multplayer session everybody will be happy to help!
Well I would anyway, don't think I can speak for everyone on the forums.
Anyway, I've learned more and more as a pilot learning from playing multiplayer then I could ever learn on my own.
I would suggest going into NeedTapes field.
Tapes a great guy and thats where myself and a bunch of other good guys hang out. It's good place to go if your just starting.

Sorry for my wallotext.
