Transferring registration

I bought RealFlight G2 on eBay, and the previous owner (who was the original owner) had registered the software. Is it possible for me to transfer the registration to my name that I can update the software to its newest version? The problem is that I bought this waay back a couple years ago and I am finally getting into RC. I nolonger have the contact info for the guy who sold it to me.

I just spoke with tech support. You must have the party who originally registered the product call tech support at 217 398-8970. That person will need the serial number of the software which is found on the crystal case. That person gives permission to allow you to re-register. I tried it and it worked.
