Files missing for Airwork's schemes

Airworks came up with some WONDERFUL color schemes.

Check out the attached picture!

Unfortunately he missed some files needed especially for .430 and above.

Please download the zip file and dump the included files into the C:\Program Files\RealflightG3\colorschemes folder.

Enjoy!

None needed!

The program will generate them as needed when you click on the respective color scheme.

Make sure that you are using .430

Also these are NOT the full colorschemes.

You will need the .TGA files (which it looks like you are missing) as well which AIRWORKS posted on the main threads.

Did you get his two downloads and put the containing files into the colorschemes folder as you are supposed to?

Sorry, but I can't find the two download files from Airworks in the main threads. After the member search function, the user only posted in the following threads:

HELI_colorschemes...enjoy

Synergy N9 Heli gettin built for G3

But there, I cannot find anything to download....

That's the thread where he posted them.

They are offline now, but will soon be back.

I already toned down the specular reflections on the Freya schemes to make them look more like plastic/fiberglass.

If desired I can repost these as .g3x files, since I have everything done now this is trivial.

I haven't done so because I needed your permission to do so first.

Several questions here....

Specular reflections are controlled by the Colorscheme file itself. The high relfectivity was also making your Freya scheme look a bit washed out. I toned down the spec to make it look more "plastic".

It still needs a tad more saturation though.

See the attached file above for the Freya scheme, when using your .tga files....

The DDS seems to be built dynamically off the base model, by Realflight, when it discovers a new scheme with TGA and .colorscheme file. There is no need to include it if you use my .colorscheme files.

It would be much easier and simpler for the users to merely download the .g3x files that have everything as a package, much like I did for the Jet Powered Super Slinger.

If you don't mind I can post these here.

Since these automatically include the .tga files and are supported by .43x it's a snap for the newbie to install them.

Can I have your permission to do so?

If so I'll do this tonight.

yep , go ahead man , appreciated actually , i started a new thread and packed up the colorschemes and dds files in it of all the ones i have done thus far.

I dont know what im getting into with the g3x for the N9 model yet thought , but i quite fluint in 3d so i have no worries about it.Being a Maya user myself 3dmax is a bit of a frustration with its new Autocrash features OH WAIT , thats not new! lol , sorry , app bashing

Anyway that model is still under 8,000 tri's i dont want it to exceed it really , so ill have some wrapping and normal map baking to do.obviously on the inners of it , im doing a bit of reading on how the G3x works here and seeing how it uses maps and materials.
