RC Universe did a review of it and there are some videos in the review. Seemed to float a lot but I don't think it handled the same as the one in the sim.

Yea, I watched that vid and anything else I could find before I sent it back to Rick. I then set the plane to fly like my Turmoil did with a lighter wing loading.

I hate to say this, but the G3 RCU Bipe is wrong. The real one actually flys better. I got one ~7minute flight in some wind this morning as the sun was coming up. It was beautiful watching this plane in the morning light.

It's probably a safe bet to say that no sim plane flys exactly like its real counterpart!

I gotta get me one-o'-dem!

Was windy, bet it is a handful in moderate winds. One head-on shot had me yelling, "where did it go?"

The real RCU Bipe is suprisingly steady in the wind. Sure, the wind would take it, but not nearly as much as I thought.

I have a G3 version that I want to upload that flys almost exactly like my RCU Bipe. I'm waiting for permission as I worked off an edit that I was sent. I'll upload a better version later. Whether it's this one or a new one.

Red face

Well, I didn't hear back yet, so I completed a brand new version. As far as I can tell, this is dead on what my real one flys like.

Enjoy,

Well, I'm glad you like em. I will probably make more of my edits available here as time goes on. It sure beats having to email planes to all the folks on multiplayer. I might make my 4D Wright Flyer available next, but haven't completely decided on that.

It's sure nice to get an edit from someone who has flown the real thing.

Can't wait to check it out!

Hi 50%

I get this message when loading your version of the plane: Plane file refers to missing Componemt Frame ‘RootFrame’

Other then that I flies great. Loops are much tighter then with the original (much more like you see in the video on rc universe) and also the weight feels more right.

oh well. I mustta deleted something by accident somewhere. It shouldn't be a problem.

Also, if you look at the weight, it'isn't accurate to what it should be, if anyone's wondering. My RCU Bipe weighs significantly less, but that's what it takes to get it to fly right.

Well if you are talking about 50%plane's edit... here is what he said...

"As far as I can tell, this is dead on what my real one flys like. "

That's a pretty good statement from one who did the actual edit.
