All of G3's helis are really modeled as CPM setups.

Re: "Feel"

I find CPM helis to be more responsive than their non CPM brethern.

So you could increase the servo response speed to say .10

Re: Weight

Adjust the "heli mechanics", battery and fuselage weight.

Remember to balance things out by adjust the component weights of other items, such as the tail boom.

If possible see if you can weigh the actual components parts and guestimate applicable totals. Since G3 does not permit you to enter weights for all of the tiny components and parts, add these extra weights in to something that is in the right area... e.g. Fuselage, etc.

We did this for a plane one time and G3 did a great job predicting the flight characteristics of the plane long before it was ever flown.

Thanks for the info, I'll give that a try, any other info on blades, rules of thumb for values when you change blade size?

Rule of thumb?

Dunno.

Changing a blade size, does require tweaking to other parameters as well.

Notably you must adjust the bold spacing, etc.

Then there's the lead weight adjustments, etc.

Make small adjustments and watch the results.

If you want more stability, increase the weight of the paddles.
