you need a long runway to take off....i tryed it in joe's G. that is the one that will get it in the air.........the other maps get will not go up..............

nice, unique design!! only problem I'm having is getting it off the ground... it needs a very long, smooth runway to get off the ground.

Nice Job. I can take it off at the sod farm. Just turn the brake all the way off and put the flaps down and it will lift right off the ground.

Love the model!

Here is a fix for most of the physics issues.

You CAN now take off from the standard airport (using full flaps).

Flap application now triggers elevator compensation (as with the P-51's).

Brake moved to three position switch.

Knob controls flaps.

Dual Rates active.

Fixed nosing down/sideways during takeoff.

Many, many other small tweaks, etc.

Nizz:

Take a look at your model in the editor.

Look at the engine in Wireframe view mode.

Zoom in on it, and look at the propeller shaft.

It is off to one side. It is not in the middle of the plane.

Can you fix this?

Also can you shorten the main gear to the same size as the front gear.

It's hard to tell from the screenshot (1280X1024), but the carbon-fiber mesh and reflectivity of the Metzlik prop are good.

Nice plane Nizz!

I started working on a Pilatus PC-9A awhile ago and it still has along way to go (see pic) before it can fly. I think the wing shape is different than the PC-21, otherwise they are almost identical?

The Pilatus PC-21 appears to have a very short tail-moment compared to its longish fuselage ahead of the wings (I'm assuming to house the turboprop engine) when comparing to your graphic. This is especially apparent in the third PC-21 flyby shot.

Nizz:

Is this normal for the PC-21? I may be wrong (usually am) but it would seem visually, that the CG is further forward?

It just struck me odd, that the tail-moment is so visually short.

EDIT: OK...took a closer look at the third flyby shot, and the trailing edge main wing and leading edge rear stabilizer have fillets that make the tail-moment appear so short. Comments?
