Actually I've been thinking of adding the Showtime to my stable too.

Have you flown it?

I love how the Flat-out Turmoil with the SFG surfaces handles. Just can't get used to the look of these planes, though. Like anything else, it will take some time to get used to.

BTW, why the 4-D moniker? What am I missing?

Naw not yet... I just bought it two days ago. I'm proly gonna put a Saito 125 in it... keep it light too. I'm looking forward to it though, it looks like it will rocket and 3D both! hehe Let me know if you get it and how it flys if you happen to beat me to it... Thanks!

I just liked the looks with or without the SFG's... and if it flys anything like the Turmoil it should be fun!

4-D planes seem to have very large control surfaces, large throws and low wing loading.

In other sims 4-D connotes having a variable (reversing) prop, hence the "4" since the plane can briefly fly backwards, etc.

I suspect that the name stuck and is being used to distinguish unusual acrobatic abilities, such as with the Showtime and it's "Side Force Generators".

The SFG wings proport to allow the plane to be more stable in flight and also to be able to knife edge better, since those "blades" act much like wings.

Wow, they dropped the price on the Showtime now that it's coming out...

I am proly going to put the Saito 125 in it... either that or the new Zenoa 20EI. All depends on which has more power to weight ratio. No additional weight will be added less a remote glow igniter and fuel filler.
