Hello everyone, so if I download this I put the file in the aircraft folder and it would work? I don't have any of the expansion packs yet. Thank you for your help.

you need to download the file ,then open G3 and click on simulation at the top of the screen, then move down to import and click on g3x,then open the path to your downloaded file and click open.look in your custom aircraft folder in G3 and you should find it there.

No it's a problem with Internet Explorer itself.

Rename the attachment.pcp to the file name you see on the post.

Thank you Inky00 sooooooo much,

I've had a love for this jet since I was a little guy, I used to custom make paper airplanes that looked like the Tomcat, and I can't count the MANY plastic models i've put together over the years.......Now being able to pilot my own Tomcat is a childhood dream now come true!!

Keep up the GREAT work, and GOD BLESS my friend!

KnifeEdge must have increased the upload file limits as i have now uploaded the entire aircraft to the first post of this thread so you can get it here http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/atta...achmentid=3328

I've tried importing this but it says I need an expansion pack, which I don't have. How can I "un-import" it so I don't get the error message every time I try to switch aircraft?

EDIT: Problem existed between keyboard and chair. Carry on!

You dont need an expansion pack for this .You just need to download the EA.g3x from the first post.I would imagine if you are getting that message you have tried to import a AV.g3x which is a variant not an entire aircraft so import the EA.g3x and that contains the whole plane . Use this link to download the full plane. http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/atta...achmentid=3328

Hi! I really liked this F14. This is one of my favourites. I liked it so much I made a VTOL version a while back but was not confident on posting it. (I didn't want to get laughed at. )... Anyway, since I've seen some interesting approaches with VTOL I decided to post my version. This version is much more stable through the use of Gyros and AFS. I hope you (or anyone) don' t mind this variant.

Just centre the 3 pos switch to go vertical with the throttle. Push it up or down to transition to normal flight.

Thanks!

lylo
