Hey Opjose,If you could wave your magic wand over this one it would be great as at the moment it is a bit too 3d able.I imagine you are snowed under with fixing flight physics so if anyone else wants to try please do.

Thumbs up

I was thinking of setting up the top wing so that it falls off with the flick of a switch, then you have a monoplane aswell. If anyone thinks this is a good idea please let me know and i will post a variant with the relevant changes. The pic below shows what it could look like minus the cabane and flying wires as they have now been linked to the top wing so will fall off with it.

I'll look at it tonight.

I've been doing a LOT of bi-planes recently so I'm dialed in for this.

Here is an edit(I hope you don't mind) of the Stearman. It has more power and is not as touchy.

Sincerely, Evanator

Thumbs up

Please by all means edit to your hearts content as i am no good at flight physics as you can probably tell from the original variant.Nice one for doing a variant so quickly.Does it really need more power though as i could prop hang the original one.

Excellent Stearman, Inky! Bravo!

This thing does excellent hammerheads. Even managed a tail-sliding, very slow torque-roll by pulling vertical, letting it run-out of steam, and trying to balance it in the tail-slide.

I actually didn't mind that it was a bit underpowered!

Thanks inky,

I was the one who requested this plane. I have a converted Great Planes Stearman to look like the Army trainer. I have just downloaded the file(s) and can't wait to fire it up. Isn't this forum great?

PS. Any other planes ya working on and thinking about sharing?

I also requested the Stearman, so that makes at least two of us!

This one needs a good bit of work.

I need to pull up some Stearman references, but this is doable.

Give me a couple of days.

I've taken many rides in these things...

Inky00:

The engine is unpainted. Is it in the bitmap?
