You go, op! I like the crap out of this airplane. Engine paint would be super!

Always loved the Stearman, it is a worthy sculpture to groom.

Thanks again, inky!

No the engine is not on the bitmap,it is just coloured silver from within 3ds max but i can paint it if you think it needs doing. To be honest though you only see the engine when you are real close so i didn't think it necessary.Let me know what you think and i will do it.Shouldn't take too long to do.

Hey inky are you modelling all these planes yourself or are you converting existing models?

I am modelling them from scratch, not just converting existing models. What existing models are there to convert anyway?unless they are in max or 3ds format you cant convert them into a kex file.

PS. Any other planes ya working on and thinking about sharing?
I have a Eurofighter that is nearly complete, just need to tweak the colourscheme and it will be done. You should see it in about a weeks time.

Inky00:

Any comments about the engine paint scheme?

Re: Edit

I'm going to base the physics model off the GP Stearman using the maximum recommended engine size.

Inkster:

The painted radial engine would look just awesome. Would really add the finished touch to an awesome bird...plus, it would look even better on my website!

Op:

Work your magic, man!

Bring-on the Eurofighter, Ink!

As soon as Expansion Pack 2 comes out you may get a painted radial. It has the GP military PT-17 Stearman in it.

The more, the merrier!

Looks like a "fun" Expansion Pack. Some very interesting aircraft.

I gotta get some more indoor aircraft and indoor photofields on my website. I've absolutely worn-out the Air Force Museum photofield using it as a backdrop for most of my outdoor screenshots!

I'm off reinstalling some programs on a new backup drive I put in the monster. Ciao
