Another KSError 16003

KSError 16003 - I just purchased G3 today at a local hobby shop. I downloaded the demo about a week ago to make sure I could use the G3 sim before purchase and everthing worked fine. I insert the cd , and get this KSError message even before boot up. I searched this forum before posting and only came up with this...

KSError 16003
This code means that the launcher could not find some path in your system. This could be the path to your desktop, your "Program Files/Common Files" or your start menu path.

This is what the error is, but no solution on how to fix it. Thanks for reading, and all replies.

System:
Dell Laptop 8600,
Windows XP
1.7 Pent. (M) processor
512mb
Ati 9600
Plenty of free space

Does windows appear to be installed on C:\ ?

Do you have administrative rights to the computer?

IS there a C:\Program Files\Common Files directory ?

Check the user account in the control panel and make sure that it is set to be an administrator.

Then try running the installer directly from the CD. Don't use the autorun feature to start the install.

See if this gets you anywhere.

I done all of the above, and still no fix for the problem. I took the time today and restore my computer to factory settings, got all new updates/drivers for windows xp and ati video card. After all that, G3 instead, and its working great. Thanks for all the help on this issue opjose, you the man.
