MULTIPLAYER Extreme Blimp Racing!

Do you know what makes blimps so boring?

Not this one!

I changed the dynamics so this blimp is fast!, also smaller and less obnoxious than the orignal size. I gave it a less boring paint job too, check it out.

To work the Blimp:

You use the Interlink potentiometer knob set between 12 and 1 o'clock, full trottle, then turn the knob to just before 12 o'clock to ge it top go straight and go for it!. But be warned! this blimp goes fast.

Want to challenge someone for a Race?
Come join us in multiplayer, RCMAC or EXTREME BLIMP RACING. Have Fun!

download both files and use the G3 Program's FILE IMPORT function to bring the AV and the CS files into action. Follow the instructions above for starting the blimp. If anyone else had trouble let m know.

No motion whatsoever in any direction at any speed above dead ZERO. And yes, I cheated and went then above and beyond your instructions, and aimed the daylights out of the fans, in any direction they would point. While the yellow smoke got plentiful and redirected, the bird is still just a sittin' thar. Even this newbie should be able to master this one. Any other ideas?

Tweaked it a little and gave it a hand launch. Added elevon control and made it a little faster. Also tweaked the engine pod control. It's still controlled by rotating the knob, but full ccw is for all out speed and rotating the knob cw rotates it thru almost 270 deg.

It's a blast to fly around. Ready for the races.

Up up and away.

The second mod is cool nice speed.

I went a step furhter because I was racing some people the other night and I wanted to really blow them all away, sorry guys!, all for fun!.

So I made some wild changes and finally settled for this ultra hyper version. Play with the interlink knob and throttle a little before you decide to race.

I keep my knob setting at 12 oclock when full on. This version will torque roll, and you can even do what I call the War of the Worlds laser shooting with the smoke, picture below. Enjoy and let's see if we can get more people flying.

If you race with someon else , change the smoke color setting! we can them have a pretty colorful sky. It is cool the way the smoke comes out from this thing. Just don't abuse the percentage smoke setting so not to upset other flyers that might be flying other models. COOL?

CYA at the races!

G3.5

Well... the blimp seems to have been grounded in 3.5. Any new mods? I love blasting around in multiplayer with this thing!!

Unhappy Ugh!

Reverted back to the one in message #9 of this string. At least THAT one has a couple of engines! If one goes into the latest edited file for an edit peek, one doesn't find any powerplants ... no wonder it doesn't want to anything but sit there. 'Nuff blimping for this old fighter jock.
