Runtime error on initial installation

I'm a first time user, and first time poster here. I did a search on the topic and tried deleting the .ADJ files as mentioned, but still cannot get the program to run. Can someone please look at my attached log and point me in the right direction? Thank you.

edited to add: btw, I have not installed any add-ons yet

The Fix for many folks in the forums has been to disable all Antivirus and Antispyware before installation. You've got a few running, they all need to be completely terminated.

Good Luck,
Frank...

Hmmm - thought I had that stuff turned off, but I guess a couple of processes weren't obvious to me. I'll try that this evening.

Thanks!

Ok, I've attempted to kill my antivirus and antispyware process running in the background. From Task Manager, I stopped avgamsvr.exe, avgupsvc.exe and guard.exe, and I have the same problem. I also deleted the .ADJ files.

Can someone look at my list and recognize any other running processes that might be causing this problem?

Thanks

Looks like it's time to start over then.

Un-install, then re-install.

It is an old problem, and you've done your reading, but try it again with no virus scanners running.

Weird.

There are several things you should kill off until you get it running properly...

mdm (mdm.exe)
sqlservr (sqlservr.exe)
wltrysvc (wltrysvc.exe)
bcmwltry (bcmwltry.exe)
jusched (jusched.exe)
stsystra (stsystra.exe)
IntelMEM (IntelMEM.exe)
tfswctrl (tfswctrl.exe)
hpwuSchd2 (hpwuSchd2.exe)
MOM (MOM.exe)
wcescomm (wcescomm.exe)
ctfmon (ctfmon.exe)
DSAgnt (DSAgnt.exe)
ISUSPM (ISUSPM.exe)
rapimgr (rapimgr.exe)
WLANUTL (WLANUTL.exe)
alg (alg.exe)
CCC (CCC.exe)

That is not to say that there is anything wrong with any of these, but better to rule out this stuff first.

Thanks for the help everyone. Uninstalling/reinstalling w/ all hints of anti-crap turned beforehand did the trick. I had no idea that stuff was running invisible in the background.

I still find the program buggy as all get out, but at least it's running. I guess that's to be expected with something so complex.

I even had my very first successfull heli flight (amongst many crashes).

Opjose: I'll try your suggestion and see if it improves things.

Thanks again everyone. I'm sure I'll be reporting back with more questions, but at least I'm finally off to a good start.

If that were indeed the case we would ALL be screaming.

Typically crashes, etc. are the result of something outside of G3 itself.

The most common of these are insufficient hardware ( not in your case ), bad drivers, or other hardware problems. This is not all inclusive though...

Eliminate the problems that cause G3 to crash and you'll also find your computer to be running more reliably with other software.
