Question Importing Raptor 50 models

I have a bunch of Raptor 50 models I've collected from around the net, but unfortunately the vast majority of them seem to be based on the old expansion pack that used the Raptor 30, and it's my understanding that those older xpacks can no longer be used with G4. So all of those derivatives pretty much go out the window...?

My question is:
1) I can see that the text in the aircraft variant files point to the base model. I assume it's not a trivial process to simply replace that with some other base model and then re-tweak flight dynamics in the aircraft editor?

In a similar vein:
I also have one model (Svein's Raptor 50, based on someone else's Raptor 30 (which doesn't require any expansion packs) which imports correctly, however its flight characteristics show a glitch in G4 that doesn't occur in G3.5: Holding it in a hover, the heli slowly accumulates a high frequency vibration in the roll axis, which leads to uncontrollable behavior within about 20 seconds. I'm not sure if it's an error in the original modeling or what, but G4 clearly has some differences in the heli flight modelling that are less tolerant of something about this particular model. Happy to upload to someone if there's a possibility of diagnosing the issue.

Unhappy-and-raptorless for the moment ;-)

Thanks. I'll give those a shot. Looks like some others have experienced the same vibration problem as I did with those models, based on the the thread here but there also seem to be some solutions posted (reduce flap angles...)

I'll give those a shot tonight.
