I just went out and bought real flight G4 installation was no problem but when i went to register it so I can update it it keeps coming up with an error..
now I'm not that good with computers but as far as I know I turned the virus protection and firewall off but didn't help..
wondering if anyone has any suggestions.

You have to give us more information.
Tell us the error messege so that we can tell what is going on.

Chances are others have had the same error and it would be in the forum here somewhere.

You may have problems with a firewall blocking the connection... Make sure G4 is on an exception list.

I got it. I just turned ALL bitdefender options OFF. Not JUST the firewall, but the virus detection and protection, Phishing protection Spam detection... EVERYTHING and it worked. Just Turn it on when you're done.

When I installed this on a fresh install of Vista 64-bit, I forgot to turn off UAC at first. There was a window underneath the game splash screen just waiting for me to allow it to run. Figured that out pretty quick. But then, I had to turn off Vista's built in firewall and Bitdefender as mentioned previously before I could register properly. But I'm not sure if those are the errors I got or not. Seems like mine were time-out errors.
