Update on multiplayer

You can get the new public beta update here - the only thing that has been changed from .033 is that this version is now compatible with the previous public versions of RealFlight. The last public update was version .021. It is not compatible with the previous betas (.031, .032., .033). If you are running any of those beta versions, update to the current (.035) update or revert to .021!

I have spent the week greatly improving our multiplayer testing capabilities. We used this new system to test this update and have been gathering some really helpful information that simply wasn't previously available. I completely understand and acknowledge that there are bugs in the current multiplayer system - we will be working to resolve the issues that we can reproduce and isolate as soon as possible. Due to the fact that the current update had a lot of good, well tested changes, we wanted to get it out as soon as possible. As a result, many of the issues you guys have reported recently about mulitplayer will still be in this update. I apologize for any inconvenience.

As I said, we have much better testing and debugging methods in place now and I will be focusing on resolving some of the specific issues that have been raised about multiplayer. An update will be coming with more multiplayer bug fixes.

Thanks and have fun flying!

Out of curiosity, is the above statement only for Multiplayer, or has something also changed about how KE handles general bug reports?

I was unable to connect to any multiplayer sessions this morning with the new version. I tried needtapes version 035 version and all of the other (four) available at the time.

I tried host mode... I had two visitors, the motion was so slow and jerky that it was unusable. I shut down everything else running in background with some improvement. One player stayed for a while, the other left quickly.
