Strange Audio Problems

I have a strange thing happening when I use the Virtual Flight Instruction (in the Training Section). Ever other word playing back repeats itself much like an echo. Now don't get me wrong, it is not an echo but merely a repeat of the word.

Anyone run into this problem before? Oh FYI, I have Sound Blaster XtremeGamer Fatality Pro, EVGA GTX 280's running in SLI, 4 gig of DDR3 16666 ram. All the latest drivers installed.

Thanks, Scotty

Use the search keyword echo or virtual flight instructor.
You may have altered the physics speed.

I had the exact problem.
I removed all programs from my computer that I wasn't using (many of them would run in the background w/out my knowing it.)
I removed whatever wasn't necessary from the startup tab in the MSCONFIG utility (lots of trash was starting up automatically).
I followed the instructions beginning on page 302 of the G4.5 help contents.
The problem became intermittent.
I turned off my firewall and snoozed virus protection.
Started RF, problem was gone. Problem would return whenever I ran RF with firewall on.
Hope this helps.
Jules

Echo

I have the same problem with sound echo on Virtual Flight Instruction for example using RealFlight G4.5. This since I have accepted the latest update (4.50.050). Everything was fine before that. I have not installed any other software of made any update to my operating system (Vista). Disabling virus protection and other applications have no effect. I have a powerful desktop, so memory or CPU is not an issue. No sound echo in any other application.

Echo - Found Solution

I read other posts about Physics etc. I checked the Simulation > Difficulty, and it was set to Beginner. I changed it to Intermediate, and echo was gone. I also tried using Advanced and there was no echo.
