Will there be an upgrade offer for v4 owners? -- Should have been in RF General
I see there is an upgrade offer for v4.5 owners but nothing for v4 owners. Any possibility that there will be an upgrade offer extended to the faithful v4 purchasers?

Nevermind, I just saw that there is an upgrade for previous version owners on the retail site. Sweet!

Or, you could upgrade for free to G4.5 to qualify for the upgrade, if it was only for G4.5 owners. The rebate is good for G3.x and up.

The upgrade offer listed on the RF site is for people who actually purchased 4.5 this year. The upgrade package on Tower's site does the upgrade from 3.x but I didn't see any kind of rebate for 3.x and up owners. Is that something separate?

You should be able to buy the upgrade for about $80.00 US when it is released hopefully sometime late October.

Unhappy doh!
Well now I wish I would have waited till after my vacation to buy RF G4.5! I bought it on 7/21 then went away on vacation on 8/1 and ended up not even installing it till 8/29. Any chance for prorated upgrade deals?

Golly, if you only hadn't installed it you could return it...

Yes, which was why I modified the title after I realized the mistake to include, "- Should have been in RF general"
