Thanks for the motor Flex. I took a few items off that I didn't need.....looks right at home in that nacelle! Depending upon poly usage later (as this internal structure, etc. takes / wastes some polys) I might have to lower the poly count on your motor (especially the stator inside) As this motor will technically only be seen in the even of a crash where the battery hatch pops off. Normally 100% of the motor, inner structure of the nacelle is unable to be seen, especially with the big spinner mounted on the motor.

Attached are a few pictures of the internal structure (as per the real model....more or less) Next task, inner structure on battery hatch and gear doors.

Nothing exciting and worthwhile of a render post. I had a friend's wedding yesterday and today I actually spent the afternoon on one of my real models.

The progress I've done is on the gear doors (getting the inner structure of the doors built) from there it's just a final look over / clean up of the entire model and it'll be ready to export over to max and into G4.5 for a quick check of the visual model before I start the mapping process.

Haven't been able to put time into this project lately, but tonight I finalized a few modeling "errors" that I knew of and refined some other areas that needed attention.

The only thing left to actually model (as far as I know) are the batteries under tha hatches. These will just be a couple simple cubes, with a proper CS later to replicate whatever battery willsonman suggests. I won't model any wires / connections from the battery, motors, etc. as none of this is visible unless the hatches happen to pop off in a crash.

I can now begin the process of breaking it down part by part and naming, organizing everything for export over to Max.

Thanks guys,

Tonight I:
~Broke it down & organized all the different components of the project
~"Holed" hidden faces to save on some polys
~Named all the components
~Created the Collision Meshes

I can not think of anything else that I need to do before export to Max. From there I will do the bare minimum in order to import into G4.5 with a simple solid .TGA just to check over the visual mesh / surface of the project. If any errors glare at me I'll do a quick touch up of said area and try again.

That's the plan! As soon as I get a viable working EA it'll be sent off to you while I start the mapping process.....inside and out.
