Help me to import KEX airplane files

I have downloaded a few planes from KE and I'm trying ti import them to G5.5.
I downloaded then from the 5 and 5.5 swap pages but evertime I try to import one it does not work.

I will use the E-Flite UMX Beast EA for example.
I download the zip file and extract it.
Then from inside Realflight I go to Simulation|Import|KEX
I browse to the .kex file that I extracted and select it. It then asks me is it is and airport object, plane or heli. Then it asks what model to use.
Some of the models look correct after this and some look completely wrong.
None of them will fly after import.

What am I doing wrong?

I can import older planes that are .g3x files and they work fine.

Thank you
Brandon

By the way I did search and read for about an hour and could not find any answers that helped.

Funny, phrank just covered this exact problem yesterday. DO NOT EXTRACT THE FILE!!!! Use the import function to import the whole .zip file as a .rfx or .g3x file, not a .kex file. Every file's page has a yellow question mark explaining the procedure.

Of course it worked great. It's the way you're supposed to do it!!! This thread does illustrate why so many people think that swap page files fly so badly. They are not getting the correct physics when the proper procedure is not followed.
