Boof, if you have some polys left and want to include a detailed cockpit, nice 360 here http://files.lockon.ru/upload/iblock...0C_Warthog.zip

It's funny you should post this. I was going to put out on this thread that The cockpit may be left out in favor of the exterior details that are numerous on the A-10. The gear and hard points as well as any armaments I may include will require a lot of polys. Not to mention the control surfaces which I'm in the middle of cutting and creating. I will probably smoke the canopy glass. I'm sure the polys just won't be there for the cockpit.

Thanks. I haven't been working too hard the past 2 days. Weekends are tough around here.

I have to defer to someone who knows this sort of thing. What would be a typical load out and arrangement of armaments for the 11 hard points on the warthog?

I'm sure some one is in the know with this stuff, but if your looking for something now http://warthogcombatloadouts.blogspot.co.uk/ has some good info.

Far too much to read so for 2008 Enduring Freedom, standard load-out was:
Station 1: empty pylon
Station 2: LAU-68/131 rocked pod
Station 3: SUU-25 flare dispenser
Station 4: GBU-12 LGB
Station 5: empty pylon
Station 6: Mk-82 LDGP
Station 7: empty pylon
Station 8: GBU-12 LGB
Station 9: AN/AAQ-28 LITENING AT targeting pod
Station 10: LAU-68/131 rocked pod
Station 11: empty pylon

I believe that will work. Thanks so much. I assume that station 1 is outer station of the left wing and work to the right.

I've put a bit of work in today on the Wart. I have added the hardpoints and some of the loadout. Spent most of the time refining the mesh to get the polys lower. Polys are at 12,275, but that number includes two tires that are just hidden.

You could save more polys if you had modeled in wings...

Thanks for the shot with the wireframe. I find those very informative.
