Avro Lancaster Build

Just got a call from Legoman, he say's it really WET where he is, power is out and will take some time to restore, however he and his family are fine. He will say hi as soon as he gets off of genny power.
Up here in NW Fla where I am, we've got about 1/2 inch of rain, breezier than norm and it was 60 degrees this morning.

Thanks for letting us know how he is doing. A bunch of the outside linemen where I work went down to Florida from up here to help repair things.

We got power this morning. 13 days with out electrical service the gennerator was more than powerful enough to run the lights, AC, Fridges and well at the same time, but it was not clean enough for computer power.

Good to hear. I saw your 33% Jenny post. I should put my double sized one up on swap sometime instead of just the forum thread. Nice job.

Now you can go back to work on this Lancaster we are all looking forward to.

P.S. The 33% Jenny definitely needs two hands and rudder input on turns but being a heli pilot it wasn't hard.

It's good to hear you have power back. I just downloaded your Jenny AV, where did you get the OX-5 sound profile? I haven't tried it yet but I will as soon as I post this.

So is it okay if I use that sound profile too? I've been working on a realism AV but haven't posted anything yet but this sound profile really makes it sound great. I went a different route than you did but I wanted something that flew more like I think a real one would fly than what I released so I created an AV awhile back. So far it's been just for me but I may go ahead and release it too. It has a custom engine curve and I was using a different engine that sounded good, but this one sounds better.

Okay, thanks! Is it something you made from one of their sounds? Or did they have a RealFlight version too?

I downloaded an aircraft with an ox-5 engine sound (FSX I think). Pulled the sound files out, estimated there rpms. And imported it in to rf.

There is no realflight files on there.

Thanks that's exactly what I thought you did... good job. The engine sounds great and the volume level is very good like it should be. And yeah I wouldn't have expected any RealFlight files on that site I just asked that to get the complete picture. So very cool you did good
