Wireless SLT Transmitter Interface appears as USB controller?

Might be a weird idea, but I wonder if I could control other simulators which need an USB controller (like VRC Pro) by using a Tactic SLT transmitter (e.g. TTX 300) and the wireless SLT Transmitter USB dongle.
So in other words: can the "Wireless SLT Transmitter Interface" be used to use any SLT capable transmitter as USB/HID game controller or does this only work with Realflight?

To answer myself: after acquiring the SLT USB dongle for 1 on eBay, I tested it quickly and it doesn't seem to appear as USB game controller. It's just a vendor specific HID device ("Nordic Semiconductor USB RF Adapter").
Which is somewhat disappointing - but on the other hand it's a bit of a relief as I tinkered myself my own USB adapter (that uses the servo signals and therefore works with any transmitter/receiver) in the meantime which now wasn't completely pointless after all.
Doesn't help me for RF of course but that wasn't the intention anyway. Still, now that I have this SLT thing, I could use a cheap SLT transmitter as replacement if my Interlink breaks (mechanically).
