RealFlight 7.5 does it support mode 3

All,

I have RealFlight 7.5 with the Interlink Elite controller. I want to use mode 3 for all radios as well as the simulator. I mechanically changed the Interlink controller but I don't find any way to select mode 3 in the software. I can create a new controller and map the switches to the proper setting but when you do a calibration the image is backwards in the simulated transmitter movements. Any help is appreciated.

Please refer to page 347 of 384 in the user manual. This is Appendix D of the manual. It will explain everything. You can display the manual from the help menu. Here is some information about the various flight modes.

Not quite sure why you want to fly mode 3. That is not common and may limit your choice of planes and products.

Mode 3 or Mode 4

Check out Link: Convert Interlink Elite: Mode 2 transmitter, to Mode 1
http://www.knifeedge.com/forums/show...98&postcount=2
In the Instructions, Substitute Mode 1 for Mode 3. (or Mode 4)

I am also curious, as to why, you would choose Mode 3.
It may limit your ability, to help, or be helped, at the field. Via Buddy Box.

Talking Nothing sinister about being Left Handed [sic]

RealFlight 7.5 does it support mode 3?...Yes!
Pages 202 & 52 of RealFlight manual should sort out the Radio Gadget and Interlink.
Mode 3 is just the mirror image of Mode 2 but for left handed people(about 10% of the population)

FYI:Modern Radios can happily Buddy between differing Mode Flyers!...

Wow, that is the first time that I have ever heard of a left-handed transmitter. Going on 15 years. I am sure that I have met left-handed pilots before. Interesting, and thanks for the information.

I'm left handed. Always have been, always will be.

I fly Mode 2, which is pretty much the standard way to set up a transmitter.

Back when I started RC cars and boats, throttle was always on the left, steering on the right. I never thought any different. When I started flying it was natural for me to learn Mode 2 which was a requirement at the flying field I went to. Only Mode 2 was permitted by the club. I could not begin to use a transmitter with the inputs on the wrong hands.

It's almost as silly as left handed Mice for computers. I couldn't even use one of those either..
