What is the deal with Duratrax Swap site?

Does anyone actually update that site? It would seem to me that it would be in the best intrest for marketing the product to show a little intrest . Maybe software isnt their bag. I have sent a track 3 times and a colorscheme once. No of which have been posted, I can only assume they received them.
This program is really good, however I think it stopped just short of greatness (no stat keeping, no templates, music controls) I just feel Duratrax should show a little intrest. Oh well Im done ranting

I've been told that Duratrax is currently upgrading their servers to handle the data load. I've also been told that they should be done with it this week (I'm crossing my fingers).

Are you looking for graphical templates?

Could you specify what you mean by sound?

I understand the need for stats. We'll definitely add that to the 'wish list'.

I hope so

Yea, I just thought it would have been awesome to have templates for custom painting. it is possible to use the generated TGA file as a pseudo template, but you only know the edges of each texture by trial and error. If and when you see the RC10 i sent, you will see I tried to crop to the texture size. IE round wheels as opposed to a square picture with a wheel. Kind of hard to explain, i just think it would have made it easier for some folks to make their own colorscheme. It is really a blast seeing my real life truck, right down to the titanium chassis and black wheels drive on a track I created. It has been my experience that if you make the software easily customizable, you get a more people customizing it, and sharing it, which in turn may lead to a larger customer base etc etc.

Could you specify what you mean by sound?
I have already submitted a feature request for SOME type of sound manager for the music. Currently there is no way to "change songs, skip or otherwise" plus, the same song will play over and over during a racing session. Listening to the music as I drive may place me in the minority, as I myself will normally turn off music immediatley after installing a piece of software. However I turned the music back on one day during some practice laps and found that 1) You guys picked out some really good music 2) I actually drive better while listening to it. I would reccomend to any that manage to read this far into this quite lengthy post, "turn that music back on, Front Page News is a great driving tune".

Yea, even something as simple a adding a line of code to copy the "Event Results" window to a textfile would be nice.

BTW what happened to the replay mode? I kind of miss being able to save a great run and view it at a later time.

Sorry for such a long post, thanks for asking for my input.

i thought it plays MP3s? if i remember the beta did? I remeber taking 15 of my favorite songs and merging them into a 1 huge single MP3 and playing that. I think it was just a folder that had all the tunes in it and you just add the mp3s that you want, then in the sound profile you uncheck all the songs you do or dont want to hear.

My System:
Abit BX133R (mainbord)
2 15gig 7200 IBMs in RAID!
P3 1gig at default
256 megs Mushkin
GF2 GTS
SBlive platnum
3Com nic, cable
24X10X40 lite-on
NewQ gold

mp3

Ron,

Yes, it does play mp3's, but its function is very very limited. I know you can uncheck songs from the playlist, but you can have 10 songs in your playlist and during an event it will just cycle one song over and over. I just think it would be nice to have a couple of key presses that will skip a track, etc.
