help plz, controller and installing

Hey, I have 2 problems.
First.
I can't install the RealFlight Deluxe version 1.20.071 on my windows 98 PII 450 mhz. When i try, nothing happens when it comes up with "do you want to install Realflight Deluxe", and i click on yes. I have tried the run command and executing setup directly from the folder in my cd drive, so i installed it successfuly on my laptop (win 98, pII, 266mhz).
On my laptop, when i update it, and try to run it, it says Error: C:\realflight\realflight.cgi
when i click ok, is says please insert the CD , but the cd is already in, so i un-installed it and then ran it at 1.20.071
Now, my main problem -
I have a Futabe T6XHs controller which i run on ppm. I calibrate it, and connect it successfully to the laptop, but when it displays the input, the inputs are, for the lack of a better word 'haywire'. Whatever movement i make on my controller has little or no effect what-so-ever on the input displays. I have the Poll with interuptions box ticked in the game controllers box.
