Canadian purchase through TowerHobbies - any taxes????

Had any Canadian purchase G2 or other stuff through Towerhobbies or other online stores and ship to Cananda? Do we need to pay any taxes or charged by any parties when we receive the shipment, eg. custom? Please tell me your experience.

Thanks

Why don't you email or call Tower Hobbies,
and get the truth instead of getting alot of
guesses here?

Topic: Canadian purchase through TowerHobbies - any taxes????

Thank you for your info. In fact, I called TowerHobbies and was told that they don't charge and sales taxes.

However, I would like to know if any Canadian, received their orders and were asked to pay taxes (either by the custom or CanadaPost) when they got their packages.

Thanks

I now understand your question. I did not mean to
be flippant before. That's the way it works if you
mail things to Mexico. My friends who live there have
to pay "duty and extra taxes" (bribes) at the postoffice to
pick up whatever I mail them.

Taxes

Yep and umh huh. You will be charged applicable PST and G(oddam)S(ales)T(ax). If shipped by mail. If shipped by courrier you will be charged the above plus a handling fee.
